Essex Property Buyer are a development company based in Southend on sea. We specialise in finding old commercial and industrial buildings and converting them into residential homes that would be suitable to the home owner or the buy to let landlord investor.

We develop properties with planning permission or permitted development rights, this allows us to complete projects quickly and with less risk.

This does mean we can pay a premium for the properties that we develop as well as giving a good return with our investors.

With over 22 years property experience which all began back In January 2001 as Director and founder of Martin & co Lettings and sales which is still going strong today with over 700 properties under full management. This knowledge and experience ensures that we can appraise developments from a purchase, resale or rental perspective. We can manage the entire process for our investors inhouse.

With Block management coming later down the line this ensures that once again we can manage this aspect of the completed developments from the health and safety aspect to the service charge and ground rent collection.

With a personal qualification undertaken alongside my lettings manager we have both launched our mortgage brokerage in July 2021. This objectives was achieved to ensure that the finance for each project can be handled perfectly with direct access to the lenders to achieve the aim of reducing risk and increasing the speed each development takes through to completion.

We have been purchasing properties for a few years and completing small refurbishments to either sell on or add to the portfolio.
